Victoria Stoneburner Is Taken By Death
Miss Victoria Stoneburner, 76, of 601 Studebaker Street, died at 2:40 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Clinic Hospital in Bluffton. She had been in failing health for two years and seriously ill for the past three months.
She was born in Kirkland Township April 7, 1886, a daughter of J. W. and Sarah Kistler-Stoneburner, and was a lifelong resident of that township until moving to Decatur in 1957.
Miss Stoneburner was a member of the Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, its Ladies Aid Society, and taught Bible and Sunday School classes.
Surviving are two brothers, Floyd K. Stoneburner of Kirkland Township, and Miles W. Stoneburner of Albion, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary C. Dilling of Huntington, and Mrs. John (Alice) Arnold of Decatur.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren, the Rev. John Mishler officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the Zwick Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 noon Wednesday until time of the services.
