Son of Nathan Henry Causey and Mary Jane Doster. He was born in Hill Co., Texas on 16 April 1894.
On Oct. 11, 1914 at age 20 he took a train to Ballinger, Texas to meet up with a friend. The friend never showed up, but a man with a Van Dyke beard was looking for help. That man was William Wood McKissack his soon to be father - in -law, Novella McKissack and Lee Manson Causey were married the 21 st day of Feb. 1915. They became parents in 1915 and went on to have 7 more children. Lee Manson Causey passed away at home, where he lived with us on the 30th of Oct 1980.
