October 30, 1891 Evening Star article mentions that Thomas who had long been interred in the Presbyterian Church in Georgetown was being moved to N.Y. along with his wife and her first husband the Irish Patriot William Theobald Wolfe Tone. Says ''Undertaker Costello removed them about 2 weeks ago.''
