The funeral of the late Bishop Whitehouse took place in Chicago on the 13th, and was very largely attended. The remains were taken to New York, to be intered in Greenwood Cemetery.

Henry J. Whitehouse, D D, H D, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Illinois, died at his residence in Chicago on the morning of the 10th, after an illness of several days, of paralysis. He was seventy one years of age, and had been Bishop of the diocese for twenty three years.
