W. A. Sullivan Dies Here Friday
William Arch Sullivan passed away at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Will Greer, In Mendenhall last Friday afternoon after an Illness of several weeks.
Mr. Sullivan was born In Smith County, but had lived In Simpson County most of his life. He and his wife, who passed away a number of months ago, reared a large family In the Jupiter Community before moving to Braxton to make their home.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at three o'clock from Jupiter Baptist Church with Rev. G. O. Parker officiating, assited (sic assisted) by Rev. N. F. Davis, and Rev. V. W. Malley. Interment was In Jupiter cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors Include four sons, W. M. Sullivan of New Hebron, Marvin T. Sullivan of Braxton, W. W. Sullivan of Harrisville and B. E. Sullivan of Florence; eight daughters, Mrs. Austin Bullock of Foxworth, Mrs. Letha Crawford of New Hebron Mrs. Will Greer of Mendenhall, Mrs. Ida Shorter of Monroe, La., Mrs. Mattle Barlow of Jackson, Mrs. Tinnie Gray of Mendenhall, Mrs. Mamie Williamson of Plnola and Mrs. Myrtle Runnels of Mendenhall and a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
