She was a registered nurse at the former Parkland Health Care Facility in Wentworth and St Luke's Hospital, Duluth. She was a member of the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church. Her husband, Charles died previously. She is survived by a son, Edward of Merrill, Wisc and two grandsons."
