Frances left a wonderful heritage. She taught her daughters to sew, cook, quilt, garden and how to be good homemakers. She taught her her sons to have good manners, be hard workers and education was important. Many of her daus. married men who served their country in WWII as well as her sons being in the service too. Her father died when she was 12 and left her mother with 7 small children and since Frances was the oldest a lot of responsibility went to her. Frances married young and was married 50 years when her husband passed away, but they raised 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls to maturity, losing 2 in infancy and one son as a teenager in an accident. Her children had good times at home and she can be proud of raising such a loving Christian family.
