Mrs. Celia Holtman
Mrs Celia Elizabeth Holtman, 87, of Aitkin, passed away Saturday, June 14, 1975 at the Aitkin Community Nursing Home.
She was born March 6, 1888, in north St. Paul. She was married to Carl V. Holtman October 9, 1912, in Minneapolis. They had made their home in Minneapolis previous to moving to Aitkin in 1949 whree she had made her home unitl her passing. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the LCW and Ladies Aid of the church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 17, 2:30 p.m., from the First Lutheran Church, Rev A. Wallace Carlson officiating. Mrs. Jack Proctor sang "The Old Rugged Cross" Kari Forsberg was organist.
Pallbearers were Robert E. Haas, Walter Wagner, J.M Thompson, James Cluff, Floyd Snodgrass and Henry Lidfors. Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Evald (Bernice) Olsenius, Lynden, Washington, Mrs. Harriet MacGregor, Aitkin; three sisters, Mrs Olga Beal, Miss Charlotte Swanson, Mrs. Al (Marie) Johnson, all of Minneapolis; six grand children; 14 great grandchildren
