FRANK D. DOWELL

Frank D. Dowell, 86, of 533 Indiana street, died at 4:10pm Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been admitted Sunday. He had been in ill health four years and he had previously resided at the Shields Rest Home.

Born at Summerfield, September 9, 1873, he was the son of Charles and Mary E. Archer Dowell. He had resided in Zanesville five years.

Surviving are a son, Charles of Massillon; four daughters, Mrs. Harold Smith of 424 Sunkel avenue, Mrs. Roy Atkinson of 535 Indiana street, Mrs. Cash Robinson of Massillon, and Mrs. Ira Hall of Cambridge; a brother, Samuel of Akron; four sister, Mrs. Allie Archer and Mrs. Madge Davis, both of Caldwell, and Mrs. Leota Curtis and Mrs. Lillian Curtis, both of Summerfield; 21 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the DeLong and Baker Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 p.m. today.
