Ervin McDonald (listed here as Irving McDonald (also MacDonald)). He was married in Boston in 1894 to Mary McNeeley of Saint John, New Brunswick. Ervin died of pneumonia in 1896 in Boston, and was brought home to Weymouth for burial. He worked as an iceman and lived in East Boston, Massachusetts. When he died, Mary was pregnant with their son Ervin Edward McDonald, who was born on August 4, 1896 in Saint John NB. At this point, Mary had returned to her hometown of Saint John; she later remarried in 1898 to William Louis Williams with whom she had several sons and daughters. It was when Ervin Edward McDonald was a boy that his name was changed to Williams.
