SERVICES SUNDAY FOR MRS. GOOD
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday for Mrs. R. F. Good, Rev. C. H. Shanklin of Omaha, a former pastor of the church, was in charge of the service, and was assisted by the present pastor, Rev. J. T. Parker. An Eastern Star service was given.
Mrs. Good passed away at her home, November 8. The body was removed to the Comer Funeral Home and later taken to the Good home where it lay in stake until the hour of the service.
Serving as pall bearers were J. I. Evans, Ward Cooper, I. F. Brammeir, W. I. Honeyman, Hiram Cool, and John Parker.
Mrs. Ira N. Cheney sang and was accompanied by Mrs. H. f. Greenwood at the piano.
Mrs. Leone Hascall, Mrs. Flay Durbin and Mrs. Twila Yeager wee in charge of the floral offerings. Roscoe Greenwood and George Hascall served as ushers. George S. and Ivan Durbin furnished cars for the family.
Cora C. Good, daughter of Henry and Mattie Archer, was born November 8, 1885 in Tennessee. 
After being in ill health for several years, she passed away quietly at her home, November 8, 1950 on the evening of her 65th birthday.
On January 30, 1906, she was united in marriage to Robert E. Good. To this union six children were born, twin sons who in infancy preceded her in death, Iva, Ralph, Ruth, and Doris.
In the spring of 1912 she and her husband moved to a farm near Emerson and they lived in or near Emerson ever since.
When a young girl, she gave her heart to Christ and joined the Baptist Church at Sulphur Springs, Tennessee. When she moved to Emerson, she moved her membership to the Baptist Church in Emerson at Emerson. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving her are her husband, Robert of Emerson; four children, Iva of Council Bluffs, Ralph and Ruth of Emerson, and Doris of Los Angeles, California. Three brothers and one sister, 8 grandchildren and a host of friends.
Burial was in the Emerson Cemetery.
