HIGH POINT - Mrs. Gertrude Chilton Gardner, 95, of 3006 E. Kivett Drive died Nov. 23, 1992 in James A. Johnson Nursing Center.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sechrest Funeral Home. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park.
A native of Ararat, she was a member of Hickory Chapel Wesleyan Church and its Senior Bible Class.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Dot Cates of High Point; sons, Rossie Gardner of High Point and Donald Wade Gardner of Long Beach; stepdaughter, Mrs. Virginia Lopes of Glouchester, Mass.; sisters, Mrs. Grace Wilson, Mrs. Beulah Davis of High Point; brothers, Walter Chilton and Herbert Allen Chilton Sr. of High Point, Howard Chilton of Graham; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 tonight.
