Bruce was a sports enthusiast. He just loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. On Saturday, October 14, 2000, Bruce tragically died at the age of 19, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Ironically, Bruce was a pallbearer for his special grandfather, "Butch", in May 2000. He was inseparable from his entire family both near and far. His
beloved mother, Karen, holds dear the many precious memories of Bruce, and still hears the sound of his footsteps and laughter as he came up the stairs. She will always cherish the medallion he purchased for her on one of his many trips to St. Anne Beaupre, Quebec, Canada, where he visited with his very special grandmother, Bertha Ouellette. His loving sister, Amanda, will never forget the priceless memories that she shared with him. His memory will also be treasured by his aunts, Tina Ouellette of Plainville, Connecticut, Lisa Ouellette of Bristol, and Debra "Debbie" Talent of Caribou, Maine, who were his only childhood babysitters.
In addition, he is survived by his loving great-grandparents, including Isabelle Roy of Fort Kent, ME. cherished aunt and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Roy of Vernon, Connecticut, and Roger Roy of Fort Kent, ME. many great-aunts and great-uncles; several cousins; and many, many friends. Because he loved his friends and family so very much, Bruce will be greatly missed.
