Betty Elaine Colston, 49, Kansas City, Kan., died Aug 5, 1994, at the home. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Maple Hill Chapel, burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Colston Fund at the Oakland park Baptist Church. Mrs. Colston was born in Emporia, Kan., and lived in this area most of her life. She was a book binder for the Lowell press for seven years. She was a member of the graphic Arts union. She was a member of the church. Survivors include her husband, John W. Colston; a son, Charles B. Colston; and a daughter, Shirley Mae Colston, all of the home; her mother, Vera Laws, Kansas City, Kan.; three brothers, Clyde Everett Laws, Alaska, Floyd Laws, Stanley, Kan., and Robert Laws, Kansas City, Kan.; and a sister, Sharon Warbritten, Garnett, Kan.
