J. E. Aronhalt Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack on Sunday
J. E. Aronhalt died suddenly of a heart attack at 8:30 p. m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Conley, Coshocton Route 4. He was 87.
He was born in Lafayette township Jan. 2, 1854, a son of Sanford and Rebecca Aronhalt. He joined the Mt. Zion Methodist church at the age of 14 and nearly 50 years ago transferred his membership to Grace Methodist church in this city. He had also been a member of Coshocton K. of P. lodge for 45 years.
Mr. Aronhalt was the last of a family of eight children. His wife, Minnie Miller Aronhalt, also preceded him in death in 1918.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Conley, at whose home he died, and Mrs. V. R. Goodwin of Pass-a-Grille, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
The body may be viewed at the Conley home from 7 p. m. today until 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon when it will be taken to Grace Methodist church. Funeral services will be held ther at 2 p. m. in charge of Dr. D. P. Mueller. Burial will be in south Lawn cemetery.
