Asheville - Catherine Glenn Quick, 53, departed from her body on August 15 after a six year battle with cancer. Catherine devoted her life to raising her beloved children, Devon, 31, Brianna, 26, and Orion, 10. She is survived by her children and husband of 32 years, Paul Quick. She was raised by her parents, Warren and Mary Esther Glenn, in Decatur, Ala. Catherine will long be remembered for her sincerely loving, caring nature and an unwavering compassion for everyone she met.
A potluck memorial gathering celebrating her life will be held at the Fellowship Hall at Warren Wilson College on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 5 p.m.
