MRS. SARAH HEDRICK DEAD.
Passed Away Yesterday After Long Illness Funeral Will be Conducted This Afternoon.
After an illness extending over several months, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Hedrick, wife of the late Mr. John J. Hedrick, passed away yesterday afternoon shortly before 4 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Mamie Hedrick, on Orange street between Fourth and Fifth streets.
Mrs. Hedrick had reached the advanced age of 73 years. Before her marriage she was a Miss Beery,daughter of the late Mr. Sam Beery, and she has a large number of relatives left to mourn their loss. She is survived by three sons, Messrs. John, James and Ike Hedrick.
Funeral services over the remains of the deceased will take place this afternoon at 6 o'clock from St. Paul's Episcopal church and the interment will be in Oakdale.
Mrs. Hedrick has. been for many years a faithful member and earnest worker in St. Paul's church. She was an enthusiastic member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and belonged to the Memorial Association which was finally merged with that organization.
The sympathy of hosts of friends here will go out to the family of the deceased on account of her death.
