Our beloved son, Ryan, was born on June 2, 1988 and went to be with Jesus on June 11, 2010; he was 22 years old. Ryan was born in Bakersfield, CA and lived there all of his life. Ryan was the first born of 3 children to Don and Terri Stone. Ryan was a very happy child and though he was somewhat mischievous, he was always a very sensitive and lovable boy. As he grew he became interested in playing the guitar and taught himself how to play. Ryan loved kids and had a sincerity about him that children could easily recognize. As a teenager he began going on short-term mission trips to City of Angels, a children's home near Tijuana, Mexico. He continued to make regular trips to Mexico to visit the kids and to be involved with work projects and evangelistic outreaches. Ryan was a born salesman and had worked in several retail establishments. Ryan had many friends, both young and old and was well liked. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He especially loved to watch old episodes of Sanford and Son, MMA, and John Wayne movies. Ryan will be dearly missed by his father and mother, Don and Terri Stone, sister, Jacklyn, brother, Joshua, grandparents, Loren and Lorene Stone of Hemet and Jim and Chickie Espinoza of Oregon, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
