Bob was born October 27, 1910, in Flat, TX to parents, Robert and Laura Dodson. He was the oldest of eight children. He passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010, and was preceded in death by four of his siblings; his granddaughter, Mindy Jane Dodson-Royal; and his wife of 65 years, Ann Walker Dodson. Bob was the loving father of Gayle Lauradunn of Albuquerque, NM, Robert A. Dodson of Kirkland, WA and James B. (Alyce) Dodson of Orondo, WA. Bob will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Jason Walker Dodson and Taylor Ann Dodson; and his great-grandchildren, Jasmin and Levi Royal, Tallulah and Wilder Dodson, Brianna, Samantha and Hunter Easley and Fiona Lauradunn.
Throughout his life, Bob was involved in many endeavors including construction, real estate and the fruit growing business. He was loved by everyone, a teller of great stories and a tiller of fruitful gardens.
There will be a Graveside Service open to the public at Evergreen Memorial Park, 1301 10th Street N.E. in East Wenatchee at Noon, Saturday, July 31, 2010. Flowers must be sent to Telford's Chapel of the Valley before services begin. Viewing will be available from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31, at Telford's Chapel of the Valley, 711 Grant Road in East Wenatchee. There will be an Open House from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 1666 Concord Place, Wenatchee, WA 98801. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
