John W "Jack" Miller 84 of Washington died Wednesday May 8, in his home. Jack was the founder and owner of "Jacks Glass Shop" in Washington, which is presently under the direction of his grandson. He founded the company in 1947 and retired in 1982. He also sold recreational equipment. Born June 8 1917, in Oxford, he was the son of Harry and Mary Tresize Miller. He was a co-founder of the Washington Boat and Ski Club and the We Brave It Camping Club. Active in the restoration of antique vehicles, he was a member of the Lehigh Valley Antique Car Club and Antique Automobile Club of America. He and his wife, the former Eileen Andrews, were married for 63 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Martin H. of Key Largo, Fla. a daughter Sue Henry of Forest Hill, MD. a sister, Fanny Baylor of Washington, a brother George H. Miller of Oxford. four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Robert and Ken, and two sisters, Peg and Evelyn, died earlier.
