He was born in Bedford County on August 30, 1915, a son of the late Letcher Tillman Leftwich and Lillie Betty Wright Leftwich.
He was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, a retired employee of Rubatex Corp. and an Army veteran of World War II.
Twice married, his first wife was the late Lucy Holdren Leftwich. He is survived by his wife, Fannie Holdren Craig Leftwich; a son Frank L. Leftwich, Jr. of Roanoke; a step-son, Ellis Graham, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; a brother, Vernon Woodrow Leftwich of Bedford and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchilden.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the graveside in Greenwood Cemetery Wednesday, February 5, 1992, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John C. Mitchell officiating. Carder-Tharp Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
