Denver -- Dick Deibert, 56, of Denver, and formerly of Eureka, died of natural causes Wednesday, Nov. 6, 1996, at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver.

His memorial services were Nov. 8, at the Family Funeral Chapel in Denver. The Rev. Don Sutton officiated.
Burial was in Fort Logan National Cemetery at Denver with honors by the U.S. Army. Family Funeral Care in Denver was in charge of arrangements.

Richard Ray Deibert was born Jan. 30, 1940, to Raymond Frederick and Christina A. (Sindelar) Deibert in Eureka. He attended Eureka High School. While living in Eureka he served as city councilman and volunteer fireman. He and his father owned and operated Deiberts Inc. in Eureka. He served in the U.S. Army with foreign service in Korea. He was a salesman for C&C Signes in Denver.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0186 of Eureka, and the Masonic Lodge. He was active in the Republican Party.
