Jean McKenzie (nee Mulder), 70, of Elyria died Tuesday at Amherst Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Lorain, she had lived in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., before moving to Elyria in 1953.
Mrs. McKenzie worked as a licensed practical nurse ikn the office of Herbert O. Hoover for 30 years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Frederick B.; a son, Lee F. of Herriman, Utah; seven granchildren; brothers Richard Mulder of Amherst, Donald Mulder of Little Lake, Mich., and Douglas Mulder of Wellington; and sisters Yvonne Morril, Carol Wilson, Nancy Robishaw and Gwen Larruso., all of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Fridday and from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturdday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 129090 S. Durkee Road, Grafton. Kenneth R. Ervin will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
