Charlene Faye ("Peggy") Crutchfield, age 88 of Andersonville, TN, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the Briarcliff Health Care Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was born July 29, 1926, in Anderson County, Tennessee, to the late Clarence and Lassie Carden Massengill. She enjoyed shopping, cooking for family get-togethers, spending time with family and friends, and outings with the Clear Branch Baptist Church Senior Group and the Lake City High School Alumni group. After retiring from Kroger’s, she was especially helpful to her mother, aunts, and others in her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Hiram Crutchfield.
