Son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lofton of Summit Passes Away
Funeral services were held today (Friday, June 12), at Ramsey (Sic Ramah) Church at 10:00 a.m. for Clifton Estus Lofton, 6-years-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lofton of Summit, who died in a local hospital at 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
The Rev. Hosea Price, Baptist minister of Brookhaven., conducted the services and interment was in Ramey (Sic Ramah) cemetery with schoolmates of the deceased child acting as pall bearers.
In addition to his parents, the child is survived by one sister, Helen Yvonne, age 5. Mr. Lofton, the father, is a well known employee of the State Higsway (Sic Highway Department.
