Frances Elizabeth "Fannie" Wilson, born about five miles east of Kearney, Clay, Missouri, was a daughter of John Wilson and Nancy Crowley Wilson.

Frances Elizabeth "Fannie" Wilson married first to Sgt. A. W. Marshall who was killed in the Battle at Wilson's Creek. They had a daughter.

Frances Elizabeth "Fannie" Wilson Marshall married second to Marcus Dory Gow on April 5, 1865. They had ten children, six boys and four girls.
