Albert B. Coomer, one of the earliest settlers of Paulding county passed away at his home near Payne on May 26th having lived here for over fifty years, within which time he has won the respect of all who knew him.
Deceased was born in Newfare, New York, March 14th, 1820, and was 84 years, 2 months and 12 days old at the time of his death. He came to Paulding county with his wife fifty years ago and together they battled hard through the pioneer days to raise their family of eight children, three of whom have already passed to the great beyond.
He leaves to mourn hid death his almost heart-broken wife, three sons and two daughters, a brother & sister and a large number of grandchildren.
The funeral services were held at the Church of Christ on May 28th after which the remains were laid to rest in the Lehman cemetery beside his three children.
The many friends of the deceased join with the Reflector in expressing their sympathy to the bereaved ones.
