John A.(sic) Woods, a member of the Soldiers Home, passed away at the west hospital about 4 a.m. Saturday, death resulting from old age and ailments incident thereto. He was born march 30, 1832, and was 90 years. He formerly resided at Aurora, Nebr., having been admitted as a member of the Burkett institution about ten years ago. His wife passed away several years ago. Several children survive him. The body will be taken to Aurora for interment.
