Geneva Lorene Blagg, 82, of Denton, died Thursday, January 22, 1998, at Columbia Medical Center in Sherman. She was born February 19, 1915 in Palo Pinto County to Lewis Charles and Effie (Wilson) Norris. She married Bill R. Blagg, February 4, 1933, in Marietta, Oklahoma. He died September 25, 1984. Mrs. Blagg was a homemaker. She was Baptist. Service will be 2 pm Sunday in Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz & Son Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Templin officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Denton. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight for visitation. Pallbearers will be Matlock Rose, Ted Turner, Richard Blagg, Weldon Faught, Gilbert Grissom and Robert Lee Blagg. (The paper made a mistake-this was Robert Lee Norris, her nephew) Survivors include two sons, Doyle Blagg of Collinsville and B. R. Blagg of Lake Dallas; a sister, Katie Boyles of Denton; a brother Ray Norris of Haltom City; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Denton Record Chronicle, January 24, 1998.
