Son of the late Alonzo Townsend; survived by mother, Frances Townsend; father of Alicia Renee Townsend; brother of Bertha Jean; Eric (Iris); Valerie Townsend; uncle of Eric Bradley; and extended family. Larry attended Lincoln Elementary School and Westinghouse High School graduating from Gateway High School in Monroeville. U.S. Navy, Vietnam War vet. He served in the U.S. Postal Service at the National Post Office in Washington DC for more than 30 years and loved boating. House of Law, Penn Hills, Allegheny co., PA. Interment, Homewood Cemetery.
