James Victor Crane was born Dec 25, 1869 in Martin Co., Indiana. He was the son of Benjamin N Crane (1848-1908) and Julia Ann Lents Crane (1849-1879). On Nov 29, 1891 he married Mary Lusean Bowman (1874-1965) and they had nine children. James died Dec 3, 1930 in Raglesville, Indiana and is buried at the Burns City Cemetery, Burns City, IN.
