Mr. Tom W. Wells Sr., 71, of Millard Farmer Road, Newnan, died June 5, 1998 at Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Wells was born July 5, 1926 in Lockhart, Texas to the late Otis Daniel Wells and the late Laura Mae Roberts Wells. He was a dispatcher with trucking lines and was retired. A veteran, he served in the Army in World War II.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 7, between 7 and 9 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Roscoe Road, on Monday, June 8, at 11 a.m. with Richard Wells officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Diane Wells of Newnan; daughter, Deborah Gaye Schultz of Philadelphia, PA.; sons, Richard L. Wells of Poteete, TX. and Thomas W. Wells Jr. of Grayson, GA.; step-daughter, Virginia Case of Newnan; step-son, Gordon Case of Newnan; sister, Geradine Turley of Austin, TX.; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
