Daniel Parker, s. of Robert Parker and his 2nd wife Patience Cobb, b. of record Apr. 18, 1670 at Barnstable, He was an active participant in Barnstable town affairs, Justice of the Peace, a town clerk and representative to the Mass. General Court. He d. Dec. 23, 1728 at Barnstable, Æ 59. They had eleven known children outlined in their father's memorial.
Mary (Lumbert) Parker was the gr. granddau. of Thomas Lumbert, who arrived in May 1630 at Nantasket (i.e. Hull), Mass. aboard the celebrated Mary & John. Thomas was the immigrant ancestor of the extended Lumbert (q.v. Lumbard, Lumber, Lumbart, Lombard, Lambert) family of Barnstable, Falmouth, Truro and Tisbury, Mass.
