Mehitabel (or Mehetabel) Gorham was born on Friday, November 28, 1755, the daughter of Benjamin Gorham and his wife Mary Sturgis, in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
On October 31, 1776, Mehitable Gorham married Daniel Hall. He was a lieut. with Capt. Magee and was one of those who perished Dec. 27, 1778, on the privateer brig. General Arnold and was buried in Plymouth.
Metitable Hall died less than six years later on September 22, 1784, just two months before her 29th birthday.
