Albert LeQueiu, 94, went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2010.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Henry O'Keefe of Malin, OR, sons and daughters in law: Reg and Carol LeQueieu of Klamath Falls, OR; Randy and Mary Ann LeQuieu of Woodland Park, Colo.; Cliff and Mary LeQuieu of Rio Rancho, NM; very special nephew and wife,: Wayne and Doris LeQueieu of Tucson, Ariz.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Albert LeQueiu rejoined his beloved wife, Thora, on May 20, 2010.

Al was born on Sept.24, 1915, to Mattie (Dodgen) and Gus LeQuieu ner Little Rock, Ark., the sixth of seven children.

His father died in the 1919 influenza epidemic and, in the course of time, his mother, a widow, married "Dad Green." The family moved first to Texas, then to California settling near Wasco, where he began farming on his own. There he met Thora Deane Roskam. They were married on July 9, 1940, in Wasco. They remained there until 1953 when they moved to Ashland, Ore., where Al oeprated a large dairy. In 1962, they sold the dairy and bought a farm in the Malin area and Al also became an Oregon and California real estate broker.

Al was active leading adult Sunday school and serving on church boards in Wasco, Ashland and the Newell Baptist Church they attended while living in Malin. In recent years, United Evangcal Free Church was Al's and Thora's church home.

Albert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Henry O'Keefe of Malin, OR, sons and daughters in law: Reg and Carol LeQueieu of Klamath Falls, OR; Randy and Mary Ann LeQuieu of Woodland Park, Colo.; Cliff and Mary LeQuieu of Rio Rancho, NM; very special nephew and wife,: Wayne and Doris LeQueieu of Tucson, Ariz.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father; wife Thora, who passed away on Aug. 18,2008; sisters and brothers-in-law, Julia and Fred Cheek, Bessie and Charlie Counts, and Lucy and Allen Gorscing; brother-in-law, Ernie Watts; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave and Millie LeQuieu, Robert and Violet LeQuieu and Leslie and Laverna LeQueiu; and step-brothers and step-sisters-in-law, Miller and Eva Green and Burl and Mildred Green.
