Mr. Stahl was born in Germany, Sept 26, 1904 and came to Elyria at the age of seven. He was employed as a ship fitter at the American Ship Building Co. and was a member of St. Mary Church and the Holy Name Society of the parish.
Surviving are his wife, Grace (Worcester) Stahl; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Rosemary) Krupar, Oberlin and Mrs. Larry (Dolores) Meek, Camp Hill, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Owen Slauter, Elyria.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited by the Holy Name Society at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the Goldcamp Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 this evening and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
