Mrs. George Birge Dies at Aliceville
Mrs. George Birge died at her home in Aliceville, Kan., Wednesday September 7, 1921 at 9 o'clock a.m. and the funeral will be held at the church at Aliceville this afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Mr. Sutton of the Le Roy Methodist church with interment in the Le Roy cemetery. Mrs. Birge is survived by her three sons, Ernest, Charles and Clyde, all of near Le Roy, and three grandchildren, besides her husband who lives in Aliceville. Anna Case was born in Newton, N.J., December 16, 1846 and was married to George F. Birge November 25, 1869. They moved to Coffey county, Kansas in 1885, locating on a farm near Aliceville, which was their home until they moved to Aliceville a few years ago. Mrs. Birge death comes as a severe loss to the family and friends.
