JOHN BETTS: [68]; BigStoneCnty, died Friday afternoon [10-4] of coronary acclusions in the office of the local clinic to which he had come after suffering a heart attack at his farm home. The deceased who was born 29 Oct 1877 came to BigStone with his parents to live when he was 5yrs of age. On Valentines Day 1912 he was united in marriage to Ann Myers-Barry. They became the parents of 4 children. A retired farmer, MrBetts was a member of StBarnabas Church & had been a member of the Modern Woodmen organization.
Surviving him are his sons: Joachim-Barry; Raymond-Milwaukee; Sherman-LosAngeles CA; dau: MaryGrace-Oakland CA; 3 grandchildren; a bro: Abe-Clinton; 3 sis: MrsJack Mullin-Graceville; MrsJohn Higgins-Minneapolis; & MrsJohn Sullivan-Barry.
