Mrs. Adam died Jun 14 as a result of an accident in California. Following an autopsy there was a cremation, internment was at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware, Ohio
She was born Aug 3, 1891, in Rosewood, Ohio. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees at Ohio Wesleyan University and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin.
On July 12, 1918, she married Oscar M. Adam in Delaware, Ohio. She assisted him in his duties as a Methodist minister besides being an educator, dramatic reader, producer and director of plays, an actress and Author herself.
She assisted her husband when he was minister in Port Angeles. She also worked as a subtitute teacher.
She was invited to participate in an international arts and communications conferance in London as part of Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee. She planned to attend the conference in July.
She was included in the book "Two Thousand Women of Achievement" in 1972, in "The World's Who's Who of Women" in 1973 and in "The International Register of Profiles," all published in England. She also was included in "Who's Who in the West."
