George Summers Snodgrass 70, died at his residence on Locust Street, July 16,1950. He was a retired Post Master and the son of George and Margaret Summers Snodgrass. He was born February 5, 1880 in New Martinsville and was a member of the St. John Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Annie Powell Snodgrass, four sons, John,Fred, Ernest and Paul, two daughters, Margaret Schindler and Ida Jo Michelson, two sisters, Agnes Morgan and Florence Shingleton, 2 grandchilden. One son, Ray, preceded him in death in 1945. Services were held at te St. Johns Methodist Church and burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
