Mrs. D. W. Benton, at one time a resident of this city, died at her home in Anoka, Minn., on December 17th. The Bentons, it will be remembered, used to live on East River streetin Baxter Springs. Mrs. Benton left besides her husband, two daughters and three sons to mourn her death. They are Mrs. Eva M. Barrett of San Francisco, Miss Marguerite Benton of Anoka, Minn., Henry W. Benton, a noted attorney of Minneapolis, Dr. Clarence Benton of Minneapolis, and Rev. Guy Potter Benton, president of the University of Vermont.
