Helen Jean Gailbreth Toth, 70, of 120 Dewey Road, Mexico, died Tuesday at home. Born in the town of Richland, she lived 47 years in Mexico. She retired in 1993 as a school bus driver for Mexico Academy Central Schools. She was a member of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church, Mexico, Pulaski Order of Easter Star, Cooperative Extension in Mexico and a 4-H leader. Survivors: Her husband of 47 years, George; two sons, Gary T. and George W., both of Mexico; two sisters, Erma Koenig of Mexico and Barbara McCullagh of Pulaski; two brothers, Robert Gailbreth and Lawrence Gailbreth , both of Plattsburgh; four grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Harter Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church. Burial, Mexico Village Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico. Contributions: Friends of Oswego, County Hospice, Box 102, Oswego 13126.
