AGE: 85 WOODBRIDGE
Theresa Anna Ottaviano, 85, of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township died on Saturday Aug. 8, 2009 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Port Reading she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Ottaviano was employed as seamstress at various area factories including the The Sewing Place in Perth Amboy for 20 years retiring in 1985. She was a Communicant of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Port Reading and a former member of the Woodbridge Italian-American Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Ottaviano who died in 1989; a son, John Ottaviano who died in 1995; two sisters, Jennie Magyar and Mary Kochis; two brothers, Joseph Antonelli and Genaro Antonelli.
She is survived by a daughter, Anna Marie Ottaviano-Prencipe and her husband Nicholas of Port Reading; a son, Frank Ottaviano and his wife Laraine of Port Reading; a grandson, Anthony Ottaviano of Port Reading; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will take place Wednesday 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will follow at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Port Reading. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
