Ruth Riggs Whitlock, 90, R1 Fairbanks, died at 4:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 1993, at Sullivan Convalescent Center, Sullivan.
She was born Oct. 17, 1903, in Fairbanks to Charles and Dove Elizabeth Wible Riggs. She was a member of the Fairbanks Kingsley United Methodist Church, Sullivan County Historical Society, Fairbanks Homemakers Extension Club and the Sullivan County Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Jean Riggs Whitlock, Larry Kent Whitlock and Howard Dale Whitlock.
Survivors include eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Collins officiating. Burial is in Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday.
