Betty A. Jeffreys
Miss Betty Agnes Jeffreys, 72, Route 1, Leighton, died Wednesday at Oakcrest Nursing Home.
She was a lifelong resident of Colbert County and a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Robert McGee and Emmitt Grissom will officiate. Burial will be in Harsdshell Cemetery.
The body will be at Spry Funeral Home, Sheffield, until being placed in the church one hour before the funeral. The family will receive friends 5-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Survivors include brothers, Aaron Jeffreys, Leighton, Lonnie Jeffreys, Sheffield; sisters, Mrs. Laura Dawson, Leighton, Mrs. Myrtle Brackin, Moulton; nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Devon Brackin, Ernest Jeffreys, Archie Jeffreys, Melvin Jeffreys, Hillard Jeffreys and Travis Dawson.
