Caspara Mathilda Carlson, 101, Winter, died Saturday, Jan. 1, at Valley Health Care Center, Hayward.

She was born Oct. 3, 1892, in Wheaton, Traverse County, MN, to Johan Hilmer Rovik and Hilda (Kasa) Rovik. She was the eldest of four children. She was married to Alfred Agrey in Canada, and he died in 1957. She later married Rev. Gustave Carlson, who had been a pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Winter. Rev. Carlson died in 1964. Caspara was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Winter.

She is survived by one brother, Francis (Fritz) H. Rovik, Holiday, FL; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; one son, Richard Agrey; one brother, Richard Rovik; and a younger sister.

The funeral was at 2 P.M. Wednesday, Jan. 5, in Zion Lutheran Church, Winter. Pastor Ralph Larson officiated. Music was provided by Anne Suzan, organist. Burial followed in the Winter Cemetery. Visitation was from 1-2 P.M. Wednesday in the church. Anderson-Nathan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
