BLAKLEY, Larry age 69 of Dayton, passed away suddenly Friday, July 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born April 13, 1941 in Connersville, IN. Larry was the proud owner & operator of Blakley Polishing Co. and enjoyed his weekends at Grand Lake St. Marys. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine Hensley and 1 brother, Leon Blakley and 1 nephew, Steven Blakley. Larry is survived by his father, Curtis Hensley; 1 daughter, Kelly & husband Scott Fields of Tipp City; 1 son, Michael Blakley of Vandalia; 1 sister, Penny Hensley of KY; 4 brothers, Omer & wife Patsy Blakley of IN, Ron & wife Melodee Blakley of Oxford, Randy & wife Jana Hensley of IN, Marty & wife Kim Hensley of IN; 1 half brother, Curtis Lee Hensley; 3 grandchildren, Kiersten, Kendra & Joey Fields; special cousin, Sally Noble of IN and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 2 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with Mr. Terry Townsend officiating. Burial at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 PM.
