Morey --- Mrs. Ida Morey, 64, wife of Harold C. Morey of Powhattan died at Stormont Vail hospital in Topeka at noon Sunday, October 1, 1961 after an illness of ten weeks. She is survived by her husband of the home at Powhattan, three daughters; Mrs. Leroy Wittenbach of Netawaka, Mrs. Don Roseberry of Topeka; one son, Don Morey of Hiawatha; ten grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Pfister of Powhattan, Mrs. Alice Oswald of Muscotah and Mrs. Esther Krebs of Powhattan; five brothers, John Wenger and Henry Wenger of Powhattan, Ernest Wenger of Fairview, Christ and Walter Wenger of Corpus Christi, Tex. Funeral services will be held at the Powhattan Lutheran church at 2 o'clock Wednesday, October 4, by the Rev. Louis O. Hemmann. Interment will be at Powhattan cemetery.
