SERVICES HELD FOR MRS GERALD ATTEBERRY
Funeral services were held for Mrs Atteberry at the Methodist Church Saturday Dec 26, with the Pastor Rev. A.M. Dixon officiating. Burial in Waverly cemetery
Singers were Mr Mrs R.E. Farrow, Mrs J.E. Garvey and Mrs Elmer Bruner accompanied, Pallbearers were Ted Bidleman, Olney Monroe Jr. Rax Baxter, Wayne Gorsuch, Grover Nutt and J.E. Parmely.
Josie Lucille Conger was born near Burlington KS Jan 1, 1903 and passed away after a brieffillness at Topeka, KS on Dec 23, 1942 at the age of 39 y 11 m & 23 d.
Since childhood she has been a member of the Methodist Church and grew to womanhood in the vicinity of Waverly
She was united in marriage to Gerald Parke Atteberry May 15, 1925. They made their home in Waverly in 1928, since that time they have made their home in different towns in the State of Kansas.
To this union one child Gerald Dale Atteberry, was born May 29, 1928 and departer this life Dec 2, 1928
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Gerald, her mother Mrs I.D. Conger, two sisters, Mrs Gladys Richter and Mrs Irene Hettrick two brothers, Lee D. Conger and Max B Conger.
