Arthur Herbert Aamodt, 72, 1019 Pierpont Ave., died June 5 at his home of a heart ailment. Born April 19, 1899, Millcreek, to Hearon and Julia Josephine Jacobsen Aamodt. Married Ada Elizabeth Brown June 23, 1922, Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Former clerk, 35th LDS Ward, LDS mission, Great Britain, 1922. Member bishopric 15th LDS Ward. Only male member, Tri Delta Sorority. Mail Carrier, retired.

Survivors: widow; son, daughters, David Arthur, Iowa City, Iowa; Mrs. Homer F. (Mary Ruth) Ogilvie, Granger; Mrs. William S. (Joan Alice) Labier, Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren; brother, sisters, Albert, Murray; Hilma Ongley, Mrs. Grant (Mae) Graft, both Salt Lake City; Effie Thatcher, San Francisco, Calif.

Funeral Tuesday 1 p.m. 35th LDS Ward Chapel, 351 Navajo St. Friends call 260 E. South Temple Monday 6-9 p.m., chapel one hour prior to services. Burial Murray City Cemetery.
